engine noise

I am gettin a metallic clicking noise when i am accelerating at any rate. It was quiet at first, now i can hear it with the windows up when the car is still cold. It is always there, just not audible with the windows up all the time. I am thinking it is something internal in the engine. I have a 99 SOHC motor with about 60K on it, first engine blew at about 38K. Yall know what this noise could be???

Timing chain?? There's a silent recall on it.
