Engine oil life reminder

When I reset the engine oil life reminder to 100% it only takes (this last time) 477 miles before it reminds me that I need an oil change. I've reset it sitting still in the driveway,while on the move,with the ex turned on but not running.any ideas? thanks.

It's certainly not reading correctly. You're certain that it's reading 100% after you reset it?

You can change the sevice life percentage thru the cluster and you may have mistakenly changed that so the oil life % is less than 100%. It is adjustable from 10-100%.

Swetrid, you we're right on the money,when I paged through the setup info there it was "start engine oil life at 10%". Now set to start engine oil life at 100%. thanks again you guys are the best.
