I have a 2000 ford explorer xlt 6cyl. sohc. check engine light came on a while back. p304,305,306 codes were sent. cyl 4,5,6 misfired(entire right side of engine). this happens inconsistantly during take off, cruising at any speed. mostly when under load, or going up hill. engine struggles, loses power, and has trouble downshifting. once i put the gas pedel to the floor, it eventually takes off. it has gotten progressively worse by a little. sometimes this happens, but not all the time. spark plugs and wires seem to be new. i checked the ones i could easily get to. all looked ok. looks like previous owner had those changed out. starts fine, but idle is little rough at times. i think it might be a bare wire shorting out. any help is appreciated...
