Engine swap survey

I am not planning on doing this but I am curious. Has anyone thought about doing an engine swap with a V-6 SHO engine? It seems to me that this would be much easier than stuffing in a V-8. Am I way off base here?

Good question. Allow me to add another question, partly because I do not know the answer. What transmission does the SHO engine bolt to? Just curious...
