Engine swap

Has anyone done a motor swap, and if so how easy/hard was it. im thinking of removing the 4.0 and putting in a 5.0 or a 351.

Do a search first for v-8 swap. You'll find what your looking for.

Yeah, it's harder than I thought it was going to be but overall it's not that difficult. You just tackle each problem one at a time.

My 4.0 to 5.0 swap turned out to be a huge project as I added a lot of explorer interior parts, 4R70W tranny, aftermarket stereo, CB, tow package, brake controller, camper, autometer gauges, ball joints, exhaust, the list goes on and on. If you have a garage and can be without your vehilce for a while then go for it!
