2002 Explorer Sport Trac, 4.0 engine. I changed valve cover gaskets last Saturday. All I had to unhook on pass. side was a waterline across top of valve cover near front, that was attached to a bracket on the head just below valve cover, plus injector wiring harness. back bolts a little difficult to get to. I put that side back together. I moved on to the drivers side. I removed the coil pack bracket at rear of valve cover, I disconnected and separated the square electrical harness. I disconnected the vacuum and electrical from EGR controller. Separated the top tube nut from EGR valve. separated the fuel line from the drivers side injector feed rail. I disconnected the cam sensor at front of cover, but did not remove the sensor from the valve cover. I removed the valve cover changed the gasket ring, the reversed order, and reassembled every thing.
The engine will not go over 1100 rpm with out stalling out and shutting off. It also idles a little rougher than normal. When the throttle plate is opened slowly, it will gain about a 100 or 200 rpm, then sounds like Quadrajet Carb when the air flaps don't open, a bogging sound. I have approx. 60 psi on the fuel rail. As far as I can tell the coil pack fires on all 6. There are no OBDII codes available. I am completely baffled at this point, has anyone had this happen?
Thank you,

I put those 2 on backwards the first time, then corrected it. I misread the coil pack. Also cannot find a vacuum leak anywhere on the motor.
