I have a 1994 mazda b4000 and it has 211,000 miles on it with blown head gaskets and I have a 94 4.0L out of a explorer and I was wondering if it would bolt right in or will I have some problems. I am 16 so keep money in mind.

they should but why not just do head gaskets.it would only be about a $100 buck and can be done in one day or a few hours depending on how good you are.motor pulls are not fun if its your first pull and will take a day or two just to get it out.but the problem is that it might not be just the head gaskets, these motor are known for cracking heads.

because the new motor has only 30,000 miles on it and like you said Im worried about the heads.

O I see.as long as they are both 4.0 and have they same sensors they should swap.I personally have done it so maybe someone that has can give you a defendant yes or no but I don't see why not
