I'm finally moving back to the U.S. I have read over a couple of things and I noticed to import my truck with me I needed a letter from Ford. I called them up and they said it costs $100 plust Taxes. I had no idea getting a piece of paper to say that my truck is safe would cost $100

Does anyone know any other way to go about this, without it costing so dang much?

I need a letter or a sticker from EPA and safety standards stating that my 96 Ford Explorer meets all requirments for being imported to the U.S (california)

Thank you

The EPA check only cost 50 bucks in Kali. Did you buy your truck in Canada or did you bring it from the US?
If you brought if from the US, then you might just need to pass a Kali smog test.
