exhaust dilema

I have a 2002 V8 explorer and last night i unbolted the muffler to make it loud and WOW what a difference. IT is loud like scarethe kids loud. I think it sounds great but the wife doesnt like it. She says its too loud and wants the muffler back on. She is the one that drives it every day. So what should i do, put it back on or not listen to her and leave it off?

your loosing MASSIVE backpressure.... Heres what you do put a Flowmaster 50 series on it. 88 bucks advance auto. You will get a nice growl at a tone she will tolerate.. i just did it and i'm very happy sounds good but not childish
