Ok, I know i have 2" stock piping. I would like to install 2.5" or 3" ID/OD muffler, but dont want to replace piping before the muffler. I see on advance autos website they have adapters for 2" to 2.5", anybody do this? would it work ok? would a 2.5" piping give a deeper tone?

anyone?

bump. think i'm going with a glasspack and 2.5 pipes from the cat back. any tips or suggestions? will the larger piping make the tone deeper?

i got single in and dual out 40 series flowmasters on my 01 sport. they put 2 1/2 inch tips on mine
