exhaust question!!! whats it called?

i recently changed my head and on the passenger side there was a small pipe leading from the exhaust manifold. it went into the top aluminum manifold. it was really rusted and broke .
anyone know what that part is called i need to get a replacement.
anyone know where i can get a good cheap one. ebay does not have them.
i dont have credit card so i cant buy online to easy. i have paypal thought.

Are you talking about the Catalytic Converter just aheat of the muffler?

i dont think its the egr. im talking about the metal tube that goes to the exhaust intake manifold. the one end might go to the egr.
what is the metal tube called. trying to find one on ebay.

it looks like that one in upper middle of the pick. you can see the nut and it goes up. its kinda black in the pic. prob 3/4 inch after the nut. nut is maybe 1 1/2 inch.
is this on drivers side right.
sorry im such a newbie. i attempted to fix the head gasket.
i did that but the tube was so rusted it broke.

mine is 94 model.

not sure if mines like that.
close perhaps. the steele pipe in center and back in aways looks close.

Dude i have a 94 also and i know what ur talking about...its definatly the egr tube...

That is an EGR tube for sure--
It passes the exhaust gasses to the EGR Valve. (Exhaust Gas Recirculation)

I would imagine that would be a pretty cheap part at any parts store.

wife took it to guy and he quoted 250-300 to install.
i told here to never go there for another quote.
i just wanted to know what it was called but he never said.
