I have a 03 V8 rwd and I've looking around online and havent found a similar answer for my situation. Tips and discussion would help greatly. I'm mainly concerned about the size of the exhaust around the unmonitored catalytic after the 2 from the manifolds. My undiscussed plan is to cutout the unmonitored cat and put a Granatelli electric cutout in its place. A big concern is that they seem to only be 2.5 in. I've seen some cheaper ones on Amazon that vary in sizes so I am just checking in with other people first whether it is a possibility or not! I'd be greatful for any help!

I would be worried about passing CA emissions. I believe they do a visual check with a mirror for the two cats.

I would need all 3 or would the bank 1 and bank 2 be enough? I can always put the cut out after the unmonitored 3rd catalytic? Thankyou!

Technically you can never alter the emissions systems anywhere, and like mentioned by Rick, probably especially in California.

Ah, that would make sense, guess I'll put it between the third catalytic and muffler, would you happen to know the size of pipe between the two? Thanks for the info!
