Exhaust

Who has put there exhuast tips through the rear center bumper where the hitch is located? I have seen pictures on car domain on some xplorers but i dont know how they reenforce it since its all one peice and the hitch is cut out. anybody have any ideas?

Check out AWDROCKS vehicle. He put his throught the bumper, but not where the hitch is located. Looks extremely good though.

i thought about fabbing something up to try and reinforce the rear but never started anything

Just make sure you find some way of supporting the rear bumper if you do it. Your gonna be pissed if someone steps on your bumper for whatever reason (a friend or something) and there is no support there

Yep, that's my problem. I don't tow much, but every now and then I need it.

yea i dont do ANY towing either.... but ive had buddies step and sit on it and i freak out when anyone touches it, a reinforcement behind there would be a great investment....also ive heard stories of peeps w/ this exhaust getting rear ended and having the whole exhaust system up to the headers move and possibly crak the block.....

Now thats a SCARY thought!!!

It looks great. Never have seen it like that, I also tow.... Here is mine out the bumper.
