exhuast manifold question

Hello im about to have shop replace my pass side manifold late next
month i got a new manifold the casting seem to be for the 09-10
3v v8 engines casting number 6l2e-9430-AE. the listing i bought it from
says good through 09. iv found the other casting 6l2z-9430-aa
thats seem to be listed more for 06-08. i can return the one i bought.
wondering if the will fit just fine

my questions is was there a change 08 up on the heads or did they
just up date the casting number. when i look for gaskets the
part numbers are the same all through 06-10

I believe that they redesigned the heads because of the spark plug/manifold issue in 09 and that is why the casting numbers changed. I don't know if the parts are interchangable.

i leaning towards returning its not that much for shipping
the ae is cheeper by about 80 bucks

the only diff in number is the last two when converted to ford part number
the e changes to z. so the numbers are identical except for aa and ae when i go to ford parts the only number they give is 9430a so im at a loss
