exhuast pipe size

hey i got a question for you guyz who put dual exhaust on your explorers. i went to mineke and they said i would have 2 loose the spare because that and the shock were in the way to have the custom pipes bent. ive seen alot of explorers with duals and stories from others. what inch pipe did you guys run? the flowmaster muffler im looking at has two 2 1/2 inch outlets

are you just doing the duals for looks?

If they are just for looks than have the pipes split after the axle.. Then you won't have to worry about the shock.. as far as the spare they should be able to route it wround it.. Of course it might get a little hot and I'm not sure it would be good for it. I know when I ran duals on my B2 I did it after the axle and they wrapped them around the tank..

I had 2 1/2" on my bronco 2.. Mine was just for looks..
