Explorer 4x4 low problem

Can anyone help, i am trying to engage the 4x4 low setting on the dash, i get the 4x4 high ok but not the low....any idea's.

Have you tried the Search feature on this site?
 






yeah i dont think you are suposed to engage 4 low on the dash, your suposed to be stopped when you engage that, but you can with 4 high, soo it sounds more like a user malfunction :hammer: :navajo:

o my bad i thought you ment when you were driving. on the dash as in moving ,,,, yeah sorry, stupid me,......

Thanks for responding to my desperate thread, and yes it was a user malfunction.
I will read the user guide first next time.
You MUST select neautral and have your foot on the brake.
I have a US model user manual and own a UK version of the explorer which i believe is far superior than the US version............. I am Joking:D

Ahaha I think you're correct on that one -- the Euro Explorer came with interesting bumpers.
