yeah i dont think you are suposed to engage 4 low on the dash, your suposed to be stopped when you engage that, but you can with 4 high, soo it sounds more like a user malfunction :navajo:

Thanks for responding to my desperate thread, and yes it was a user malfunction.
I will read the user guide first next time.
You MUST select neautral and have your foot on the brake.
I have a US model user manual and own a UK version of the explorer which i believe is far superior than the US version............. I am Joking
