Has anyone ordered from explorer express how is their service?
Im intrested in buying the suspension for my 1995 Ford Explorer XLT 4X4 Automatic with 210,000 miles, is it worth the $800?

Lowered X's supposedly ride like ass. You'd benefit from a rear sway bar, and there are better, cheaper shocks than the Edelbrocks. Rancho 9000.

That is a lot of miles - and now you'll be putting everything at different angles. I would possibly hold off on the suspension kit. This does lower your Explorer a few inches correct? I heard their service is good, but I've never tried them personally.

just get some blocks and crank down your torsion bars. same thing for alot less money.

I think he's talking about the kit that includes the lowering blocks, sway bars, and a few other things, not just the lowering kit.

To answer your orginal question EE are the best around! They sell the best and are not that expensive. I had experience of just how good they are when I did poly mounts aan sway bars a couple of years ago. The poly kit was from another dealer and was ALL wrong for my year. EE helped me sort it out and I ended returning half the kit that did not fit and buying the proper poly bushings from EE. Considering I had not bought the kit from EE they still spent a lot of time researching my problem and providing all the specs I needed and offered great service all round.
Just MHO.

I ordered my sway bars on a thursday and the next wednsday they arived in a custom box packed good with great directions. I cant wait to put them on it came by ups, and fast considering it was all the way across the country: california-virginia. Dave from ee was extremly nice and helpful I recomend there survice!

Great service. They are in a small niche, Explorers. Their X-spec kit for the 2nd gen is for a 1.375" drop. I have gone about two inches down in front. My ride is harder more due to my tire size, than the lowering or shocks. There are softer riding shocks.

Well yesturday we put the sway bar and shocks on, it drives like a car! It has made my vehicle feel stable, secure, and agile. Love it! I would recomend the sway bars to anyone wanting a better, funner, drive! Now I reeeeeeeaaaally watch my speed-lol
The monroe sensatrac shocks did a good job, although I can see were the edelbrock shocks would have been better- still Im satified. Body roll is barely noticable now with the combo and the vehicle never felt uncertain. It took me and my dad from 3-11:00pm to finish: due to our incompatible likeness. The only problem we had were the bolts wich were a bit stuck, defently inpossible without an impact drill, my jack stands were also a bit to small and only lifted the vehicle about half an inch between the wheel and the ground. I love my new setup and will post pictures on my cardomain site. thanks to ee for their awsome product and steler service! it would have cost me $250 for instalation of shocks and bars so I feel it was well doing it ourselves!

Speaking of body roll...

I drive my x like a car. while i don't do "parking lot maneuvers" at any rate of speed, i don't fear my truck rolling... my shocks are SHOT and are in need of replacement, but i fear getting any suspension upgrades (for mine is completely stock) would somehow inadvertantly throw the balance off...
