just a quick reasurance the bolt pattern for an F150 is the same as an explorer. right? :rolleyes:

no they are different..

?-96 f-150s are 5 on 5.5
the new 97-03s are toatly different.


all explorers are 5 on 4.5
 






k thanks i thought they were diffrent but didint know for sure.

Actually the 97-03 F-150's are 5 on 5.5 also.

And yes you can use a mustang rim.
 












Sorry but the 97+ 150 are 5 x 135mm bolt pattern. 97-mid 99 is 12mm and 99+ is 14mm studs.

04+ is 6 on 135mm.

Tex, if that where true(and its not) there would be alot of pre-97 trucks running around with newer f-150 wheels ;)

Bah, I was only off by .2 of an inch. Close enough...
 






they still are different then the older styles..so they wont fit.

an none of them will fit a x.
