So my 2020 Explorer is all over the road mainly at highway speeds. I know the wind can cause some issues but this is ridiculous. The vehicle feels like it is getting pushed around side to side. Especially when passing semi's or bridges, etc anything that momentarily stops or increases wind. Any ideas out there or is this just normal since I only have put 2000 miles on the car since buying.

That is definitely not normal. My 22 feels solid at highway speeds even with the wind or semis.

Has the alignment ever been checked?

My 98 did that, it was the swaybar links and bushings. Yours is nearly new, but maybe check those?

Have you messed with your lane keep assist and centering. What amount of help is it set at. I know in the wind they can get a little confused and try to self center a lot.

Is this a new to you 2020 or have you had it since new and it just started this? First thing I would check is tire pressure. Too many stories of over/under-inflated tires out there that cause handling issues.

I have not had the car since new. Only put on 4K miles. But I swear it did not do this in the beginning. I don't see how air pressure could cause the issue. I keep mine at 35 all around which is a tick higher than on the door. I just wonder if something sway bar related is not right.

Definitely something off. It should be planted and drive straight.

My new-to-me 2020 Limited was similar.
The alignment was off & the wheel was a bit to the left, so it pulled right with the wheel straight.
Felt like the lane centering was constantly fighting the wheel. Had the dealer fix that before we made the purchase.

I had a similar issue that I chased for 6 months. At one point it got to where I could replicated it... with a slight acceleration at highway speeds you could feel the vehicle shift to one side and then back... and replicated it with the service manager. They ultimately found a loose bolt on the suspension (I personally think it was when they did a warranty repair 6 months prior... but at that point I was happy to have it fixed). I also had abnormal tire wear.... went through a new tire in 6k miles... so check for any weird tire wear.
