The mats i have in the rear are the factory ford mats but they do not have a hook to keep them in place. They keep sliding all over the place when someone tries to step on them. Any recommendations for anti slip replacements?

I must have a lighter right foot, my mats stay in place.

You could try that waffle pattern rubber stuff from your local hardware store that people use to keep their interior rugs in place on hardwood. They're also easy to cut down to size. It's also the similar material that you can find in the bottom of the drawer of a tool box to prevent the tools from sliding around. That should do the trick for ya.

I got the same issue going on as well.

Velcro with fix that

I can't get the velcro to stick either. Super glue maybe but I'm not going to.

Stitch the stiffer plastic like side of the velcro to the floor mat with a needle and thread. Use a big needle, one that you can poke through the floor mat with hurting your hands, you will only need a few stitches but make sure they're nice and tight. The stiffer plastic side of the velcro will stick to your carpet preventing the mats from sliding around.

Harder to stitch to floor . It sticks to the mat pretty well.

same issue here, velcro is not sticking to the floor. I even picked up some industrial velcro.
