Earlier today my explorer died, and when I tried to start it it would click and if tried more than once the clicking would get weaker.
Anyways, someone came and gave me a jump. Its started right up and I drove to a gas station, I left it running when I went inside. When i get back in, put it in reverse, the motor died. tried to start it back up, just clicks.
Someone else show s up and tries to give me a jump. It would barley try to turn over but would not start.
So a tow truck comes and gives me a jump, starts right up.

So what is my problem? I'm no good at troubleshooting.
I also forgot to mention that I am in a different state and i have to work tommarrow at 3
help me out here

Your battery is probably going dead or dead completely. What I recommend doing is has someone jump it, you may need to keep the cables on the car for about 3 minutes before trying to crank the motor. Get it started and then run out to the local parts store and get a new battery and have it installed or do it yourself.

May be a bad alternator.

It could be a bad alternator but he didn't mention any things like the gauges jumping or the battery light coming on so I suspect it isn't an issue but it would be good to test it in case.
