Good tidings to all.. opinions needed pls. the tranny went out on my until then reliable 96 eddie bauer edition explorer 2 wheel driver 6 cyl
-great work vehicle pulling work trailer --
bought a fantastic 2005 expedition for a replacement but decided to
keep the explorer and replace transmission (giving to it to best friend who moved back from brazil and needs a vehicle for a few months while he settles in.) tranny shop calls and says low voltage to newly rebuilt transmission and
pmc must be replaced. should i opt for a reman or pull one from a junker this weekend from pull-a-part...? shop saying they are trying to locate one for me but did not specify how long it would take.
will i need the old one with specific markings/part# to order new one
or will any one pulled from a 96 junker do?
any helpful assists will be more than appreciated.....
