Alright i was wondering which breather hoses to extened to prevent alittle water from getting in them, and is it simple, just attatch a rubber hose to it, clamp it, and extend it to the firewall, is it that simple, or does more need to be done.

thanks...scott

You got it.

I used four feet of hose on my front diff and brought it right into the engine compartment.
The rear is pretty long already, but I added a little and looped it back downwards for a few inches, same with my t-case. just look at it from the water`s perspective and go with yer gut.
To ensure buying proper size snip off a bit of original hose from one of them to bring with you.

Here is what I did to mine:Dead Link Removed Scroll to the bottom of the page. Mine is a 91 so yours will be slightly different. I put filters on the ones in the engine because it gets so dusty under there. Good luck.

Brian, that jeep is just too cool!

I`m interested in why you used filters on those breathers, I always understood that the vents would never suck air in. It looks interesting though, and professional.

Thanks, I am still working on it. Just finished the rear bumper for it yesterday.

I didnt want alot of dust and dirt to enter the lines and work down to the diff. Also it helps protect the lines from getting water in them. The filters are pretty dirty, I havent cleaned them since I put them on. At least all the dirt they trapped wont mess up the bearings in the diff.

i hate to sound ignorant, but i coudltn find the hoses, i found on stiff hose, i woulndt call it a hose, more like a tube, its metal i think sticking out directly under the car and its open, and i found a rubber hose comming out of the front diffy, or mabe the transfer case, im not sure what the transfer case is, but i know waht the diffy is, and its on the right side of the diffy and it has a rubber hose comming out of the top and at the end it has a little stopper of some sorts on it, sorry for not knowing much, im just startin to learn my x
