F-150 coil spacers

Well I am thinking of when I trudge through the Pick N Pull that I would like to know of the exact years of 2x4 F-150's that I can get the spring spacers from so I don't grab from the wrong years.

These are the spacers from F150's that you hear about.

I checked at work for these parts. My price on the Ford parts are $140.00 for the left side and $109.00 for the right side. I guess I will be doing the ol' junk yard trip.

Thats gotta be the wrong part number, Do a search on here and confirm it. LIST at the dealer is like 35 bucks per side. Cost is under 20 per side.

I just checked the part nubmers posted above as i work in a ford parts dept and those come up for the 92-96 F150 and list prices are $18 and $19.

But I have a question, is there any issues with gettin the alignment back in spec after adding these? I put aftermarket spacers in my F150 and now can't get the alingment back in spec. I'm thinkin of doing this to our 93 when I buy the wife a new Xplorer.

Yes! but it can be done. The f150 spacers will throw your alignment off and it is highly doubtful that there is enough adjustment in your front end to correct it. You will have to go to a shim with more of an angle. The shims are not very expensive.

Well so long as it can be brought back to spec with out needing the axle piviot drop brackets I don't mind. I just don't want to have to buy those in addition to the "lift" spacers. May as well just get a real lift if it would need the drop brackets. But thats what happened to my 150, I would need the axle piviot drop brackets to bring it into spec.

You should not need drop brackets. Other then the f150spacers you should not need anything. Your local alignment shop should have the shims to adjust it.

what is a torsion lift and where do i get shackles for the rear lift

Torsion lift will not work on a 91-94 truck as they do not have torsion bars.
The shackles are usualy special order but often some are on here for sale.
Please try searching for things before asking a question as it has probably already been answered

ok quick question if i have a 1" spacer then what degree alignment cams shoul i get?
