so i have a set of f 150 springs in the back of my explorer right now and i am wondering if they will fit into my explorer and lift it at all. i know all about the 150 spring seats but i dont want to spend money if i dont have to and the springs were free. also i want to get a front end allignment right away after this and one of my ball joints is bad. can i replace it myself or do i have to have a shop press it in? thanks

i got a free set of bronco coils which is the same. It is possibal but not worth it. Rough ride, and you would have to use all the stuff off the F-150's front end to get it to work.

I installed the F150 Leafs and I think it greatly inproved my ride and it gave me another 1.5" in the back. It also made a huge differance in pulling my trailer, the backend no longer sags way down.

You can rent a Ball Joint Press from most any parts store.
