Does anyone know the backspacing on the factor 17 inch wheels? Can these wheel be used on ttb explorers?

Offset is 44mm (1 3/4") - it's stamped into the inside of the spokes. Not sure what that equates to in terms of backspacing. Just working through it though, they're a 17 x 7.5" rim, so centreline would be 3.75", plus 1.75" offset = 5.5" backspace (I have assumed that backspace is the measurement from the inside of the rim to the mounting face of the hub part of the rim).

Width is measured inside the rim flanges but backspace is measured to the outside. On most wheels, the difference is about 1/2" per side.

Assuming the +44mm offset and 7.5" width used in your calculations, the backspace would be about 6".

1 3/4" + [(7.5" + 1")/2] = 6"

Factory backspace on most TIB/TTB Explorers is 4.5", so there could easily be clearance problems on the inside, especially with large tires.
