I just installed a new Kenwood Head unit using the factory amp bypass kit. I took a look at the amp, and I got wonderin, instead of just leaving it there to do nothing, why not hook it back up to something? I was thinking about trying to hook the amp up to a Kenwood 3 way speaker box i have (2 woofers, 2 midranges, 2 tweeters). I figured I'd use the preamp output on the back of the HU and try to splice the wires into it, but I have a few questions first. First of all, is the stock amp powerful enough to drive a box like this, it's a kenwood ksc-7702 if that helps. Also, would I need to do anything special about the power supply, or just splice the wires from the bypass kit? Thanks for the help.

The factory amp is garbage. If you want to use it for something take it out and use it as a door stop. Or maybe let your neighborhood kids use it as a hockey puck. Or better yet just throw it away.
