Well, I spent a while searching for threads, but it has come down to this...
I'm trying to scab this factory sub amp/sub into my ex, but can't figure out the wiring. It's from a 95 Limited w/ Premium Sound.
pic here
I'm ASSUMING:
Connector B - plugs into other factory amp (is this high pass or low pass???)
Connector C - red=hot, yellow=remote (both are heavier gauge that the rest of the wiring)
...but I've definately been wrong in the past...so, I probably am on these 2 counts as well.
I'm just trying to figure out what each wire is...also, I found it strange that "A" and "B" (although directly wired together) are different. One has a yellow while the other doesn't. It appears to be "factory", though, because Connector "B" has 4 pins while "A" only has 3 (although I haven't looked inside the loom to verify that it hasn't pulled out of the connector.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Eric
