Hello all,

I've got a 2001 explorer sport, was running strong no odd noises, no check engine light, nothing. Was pulling in to park it and it started to sputter and died. After that it restarted a couple times but would only run for a min before it would sputter and stall out again. After that it wouldn't start up at all.

It sounded like it was starving and not getting any fuel, checked all the fuses no problems there. So i replaced fuel filter hoping it was just plugged. When doing that I turned it on to make sure the pump was pumping and it was, and the fuel looked good(no odd smells, no crap floating around in it). So pump is working, filter replaced but still the same issue. Spark looked ok(i only pulled 1 plug to test but it had spark). I've got one of those diagnostic units so i plugged it in to check codes. No codes thrown. I don't have a fuel pressure gauge to hook up and test, may have to go see about renting/borrowing one from the parts store. Aside from that I'm stumped, is there any sensor/module that could cause this? If there was shouldn't it throw a code indicating so.
