Fan Belt

On a scale of 1-10 10 being the hardest, how difficult is it to change a serpentine belt, (aka fan belt.) on a 1991 Explorer?

depends on whose scale you are using.... if you have the special serp belt tool, it takes me like 3 minutes and almost takes no effort..... on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being my engine swap on my toyota, its a 1 if that....

I think it's harder than changing brake pads, if that gives you any idea. PITA
