Your post is very difficult to decipher. Have you tried replacing the bulb and/or the fuses?

No I have not replaced the bulbs because they all work none are burnt out. But yet the left continues flash rapidly but again it doesn't do this every time but when it does only way we've found to get it to shut off is to turn on harzreds or wait it out

Is your steering wheel in the lower position when thus is happening?

My wife has it down she drives it but I have it up for me and its done it in all spots

If all the bulbs work then the problem is probably the flasher module. It happens.

Ditto. IF you have a tilting column move it all the way UP. If everything works, you've found the MFS connector issue.

Intermittent. Check the MFS connector, flasher module, MFS switch, and rear wiring in that order.

Thanks for punctuating your reply.

Check your trailer wireing make sure its not all gunked up and shorting

Intermittent. Check the connector and also your punctuation. ;)

Does this steering column issue also affect 2001 Job 1 Sport Tracs? I have an intermittent turn signal on the right side. I bought the bulbs but haven't put them in yet. I have not tried moving the column up/down since it's only an occasional issue.

Searched "fast turn signal" in the ST sub forum and this was the first thread.

Not sure if the OP has a Job 1 or 2, but it will only take a few seconds to check.

Check the lamps first. If not, then try tilting the wheel up.

Flashing too fast is caused by too much load on the flasher as in too many filiments lite, should only be two filiments one on each end of the vehicle. If there is a shorted bulb it would flash fast on one side. The other side would flash normal as long as the short is not to the power side of the circuit which would as long as running lights are on would affect both sides. Or as I stated in my last post there is a short in the brake light side of the trailer connector which will affect both bulb one side will flash bright the other not so bright. Anything in the multifunction switch will just affect power to the turn signal flasher as in none. Or go get a heavy duty trailer tow flasher which is not affected by load and it will flash the same speed always.

My Job 1 has this issue if the steering is in the down position. Not a problem because there is no reason for it to be down.

Thanks for the "titling the steering wheel up" fixed my problem quickly.
