fender flares??

hello, i'm new in the explorer world, i know most members do not like newbie questions as i did not in the honda forums i was in, but i searched and could not find a clear answers, anyone know fender flares that fit an xlt wit the factory oem running boards?? i found xenon, but they say will not fit on oem running boards....thanks peoples

u can always go to a junkyard and get the flares from an eb or limited and put them in, but u will have to drill holes in ur fenders

I bought 2 sets of flares from J.C. Whitney. They're the generic kind but they look and fit pretty good on MY ex....

Not too spendy,either!!

and the ones that are from jc whitney work WITH the oem running boards???

I trimmed my flares to fit. I got the 4 1/2 in. ones and they wanted to curl in and rub on the tire. They still work/look good though, i.m.o....

They have a 1" lip that you screw to the inside lip of the fender.
