I munched the right front fender on my Mounty today. Probably salvageable but new ones from Ford are less then the time it would take to fix the original. So how do I tell if it is with lip or without? It is a 2000 Mountaineer AWD for reference.

Mine are black. I hope this helps.

On Fast Parts Network they list with a lip and without. I am not sure what type of lip they are referring to. Is it trim or something like that?

the fenders are all the same with the acception of some come drilled with holes for the wheel flare. I am unsure what lip is refering to.

"Lip molding" = trim on the fender. No "lip molding" = no trim on the fender. I had to look that up for my vehicle ;)

BINGO! "Lip molding," is a fancy way to state, "trim on the fender." I read that in an article. Lord knows what pictures might pop up if you Google that term [post frightened face here]
