Im guessing he lost control and skidded sideways into the telephone pole and sliced the thing in half.

He got lucky however, it looks like the cab was missed altogether.

i have to say though, m suprized as much of it is still intact considering what hapened to everything aft of the firewall

wow.... :eek :eek wonder how fast he was going.....dam...i wonder what the parts are all worth..... :eek

If there were only 399 of them to begin with and I've seen at least 15 crash photos. It is almost worth it to get a hold of one for 1.2 mil and store it for 10 years, then sell it as the only remaining Enzo! ahha, only you couldn't decide to buy an Enzo, you were asked to buy one by Ferrari. What really gets me is many of the crashes were driven by a stupid teenager of stupid parents.

This happend on highway 1 just out side of Santa Barbara. The story is that he was racing a SLR mclaren. Just over 110mph. He also kind of stole the car. He purchased the car in England or something on a loan, then brought the car over to the US... and stoped paying. He is not as wealthy as he likes to look. I wonder how much he wants for the motor?

I've seen F-15 crash sites that made less of a mess than that Enzo left! Man, what a waste of a finely tuned sports car. The Ferrari Enzo is a rolling piece of artwork, it is a sad turn of events. Speed+slight straight-a-way+bad steering=major @#$%ing mess. Almost brings a tear to my eye.

Holy crap thats old news! ;-)

Looks though that they were able to open the door with no problem... or perhaps he opened it himself?

that is one hell of a wreck...

I believe Ferrari said they would be able to rebuild it. Or basically build him a new on lol.

i actually saw this in the paer today they said that he came over the crest at 162mph(calcutalted number).

That is what i was thinking!

also being that the car is 1 Million + in value it is not totaled I am estimating 400K in damage and that isnt even the half the value so the insurance will fix it.

And the driver ran off on foot and was caught a week later I think.
They had a video camera!! I cant wait for that video to hit the net.

this story was the headline in CA for like 2 weeks+ about a month and a half ago..... i guess the story never made it to the east coast till now......

REPOSTS everywhere. That truck video is also a repost. The Ferrari thing is farely old, but i still die a little inside everytime i see it. It truely is sad to see such a fine piece of artwork destroyed.

Yeah fox I am aware it is a repost that is why I gave Posotive Vibes credit for the find just thought it was funny.
