I just started to notice this problem today with the steering. Whenever I turn the wheel left or right while sitting still or moving less than 10mph I get a real bad vibration. The fluid level is right were is needs to be. I drive 125 miles a day on the highway and it makes me nervous thinking the steering could go out on me.

My second problem is I think there is something else going wrong with my front end. I have a real bad squeek from the driver side wheel area. I think it may be one of the joints going bad. I do not know allot about the front end components. I do have the know how to fix what is needed. I would appreciate the help in fixing this. I do not have the time or the money to pay the prices for someone to fix it. 2001 X Sport 2WD Auto.

I think it may be my upper control arm bushing causing the squeek. Do I need to buy a whole new control arm, or can I spend the 9.99 on each bushing. I called advanced and the control arm is 91.88 and it comes with the ball joint(S) and bushing. Which way do you think I need to go?

Before Spending any Unnecessary $$$, Go to a Local Tire Kingdom or ?? and have them Do a Check Out for U, They are Usually Free and then U will Know What U Exactly what U Need.. Cool!!

Thanks for the info, I was thinking about doing that but I liove in the sticks and the closest NTB Tire king etc. is 45 minutes away. The local shops charge minimal 1hr charge.

I did have a cert mecanic that I work with take a look/listen at the squeek, and he said it was the upper control arm bushing.

As for the vibration when I turn the wheel, he said it sounds like my ps pump is going or there is air in the line. U guys/gals agree.
