Well I figured out the equations and it looks like a 285/50/20 will fit on the X. Has anyone ever run any tires this size. It comes out to about 31.2" high. Also I'm wondering how low I can go w/o these rubbing. If anyone has any input let me know before I make my purchase. I value you alls 411. Thanks.

No thoughts huh....

i worked on a red X at work with that size tires...

Looking at your signature it says TT/Shackles, yet you want to put 20's on it? That one has got me stumped.

Interesting, lifting your X to fit big rims. I say go 6" and get some 26's.

Yes the TT/ Shackles are on the X. I recently decided to Street the X out. However, I don't think you can get the off road out of me. So I want the "meatiest" tire possible on these 20's w/o rubbing. Plus Chicago has some serious potholes. Eventually I will do the TT for lowering purposes :D

Jim, what year was that X? Was it lifted shackled? Looked nice I bet!

Husky, I would if I had the bread. In fact, I found some BFG AT KO's 31's that fit 20" rims. Too bad they were like $400 a piece.

bump

So you're gonna blow $$$$ on 20s, and then take it off road and trash the rims.....

Not flaming, just wondering what you are trying to do here

No the shackles will be coming off soon, and the X is staying on the Street! But it would be nice to have a beefy tire like that on dubz. But I'm looking at the 265/50/20 now...Got a friend with a lowered F150 on the toyo proxes in this size and the ride feels fine.
