Finally a REAL Explorer web site!!

I do have to say that everyone running this site and the forum are doing a great job. There's a LOT of information here about almost everything under the sun for Explorers. After many hours of searching, by far, this is the best site for Explorers. Now that I've got my hands on a 97 XLT, I'm ready to make it more than just a "grocery getter" or mode of transportation for "soccer moms."

Beware of the I-saw-someone-else-with-it-now-I-want-it bug! It will difinitely bite after being on the site a couple of weeks. It mainly affects the wallet area. That's not necessarily a bad thing though.

Thanks guys. I've already caught the mod bug after looking through the forums and pictures of other explorers. Jeez... not even a week. Poor Gerlad... that was a good laugh, but i've had similar experience with paint and a different body part, so he has my utmost sympathy. i'm still sniggering at that post while typing this one though

This is very true. Kind of evens it out if you look at it that way.

you've got to take her off roading, let her meet the guys, talk to them,,,,,, that changes the entire prospective. Mine was lately convinced to go off roading with me to Attica....... otherwise Kampy is gonna come back and feed the dog (untill she (dog) is too fat to walk).

I did take her off-roading with me in GWNF on the 17th. She had loads of fun. (exact opposite of what she had expected) It took lots of convincing, but she finally agreed and is glad she did. She actually wants to go again. She just wants me to spend all of my money on her like I used to before I got my Explorer. She would rather her have new jewelry, flowers, etc... instead of my Explorer having a brush guard, suspension lift, louder stereo, etc...

when you're married it's different. Then it's not only your Explorer but also hers......... something like that. It'll change with time. There will be change in priorities, family, home, kids, cars, other,,,,,,,, flowers too but it'll be a bit different by then. Woman want our attention,,,,, 100% attention,,,,,, they don't like to share........ untill they know they've got you for good..... works the other way as well.

well, something like that.

Later it's more than a wife, it's like having a lifelong pal, friend, body....... I know from experiance..... my wife is happy when all the "honey-dos" are taken care off before I start working on other things....

Well, there was a very religious man who started wondering if God ever listens to his prayers since he never got anything he asked for so many times. One day while praying he asked God once again to at least give him something for all his prayers. And God answered...... and asked the men what was it that he wanted.... and the man said that since he likes Hawaii so much and really hates flying that he wants God to build a road from the coast of California to one of the Hawaiian islands so he can just take it every time he wants to go there. God thought for a minute and said that it's not that easy to build such a long road and it's nearly impossible even for him and if there is anything else that he could do instead of building so man replied that in this case he'd like for God to give him the ability to understand women...... their thoughts, their needs, feelings...... so God responded ...... So!! should that be a single or a two lane road????
