Finally doing my exhaust right

Finally got some clips. Theres three video clips. One is idleing in the driveway with some revving. The second is me taking of WOT down the road. Third is my driving down the road and keeping the rpm's under 2000.

Well, figured I would update, the imco extreme is off. Had to get my annual state inspection and flunked at two different inspection stations due to it being too loud. So I have an el cheapo quiet muffler from autozone on there now, so much quieter but I think I kinda like having the quiet. Not sure yet. I still have the secondary cat removed and the 2.25" dynomax tailpipe in place.

dang man that sucks..always go to pass emiss. befor you put on new exhaust..so your good for 2 years (atleast in Md) but it soundED good..lol good job man..hope you go back to it

well, thing is we have annual visual inspections every year, no emmissions testing. I would have to swap my exhaust every year to get a sticker, but with the way my truck has turned into a money pit this last month, i don't know how much longer this Explorer is gonna hang around. Just had to do a lower intake manifold gasket, shackles due to stockers being rusted through, upper and lower ball joints, the exhaust, new brake hoses, new front axle ujoints, gonna need to replace my IAC soon i suspect cause my idle is all fawked up, and my rear drums are gonn ahave to be rebuilt soon as they are alsmos completly toast. This all after i spent $500 on 4 brand new BFG AT's...

Once you do all that though you will be good for a while, I did nothing at all to mine for 5 or 6 years and withing the past few months I've done the starter, 4 balljoints, completely replaced rear drums, new iac, new battery cables, all new ujoints, new shocks, intake and valve cover gaskets, all new bfg ats and wheels, all new stereo, trans pan gasket and filter. I've spent enough to buy a couple more of them but it will be good for a while
