And hopefully you pronounce that Glams witha long A. I know I know it is american. and proly Gamus or sometihing. I only said something cause I have traceable geneology to Glamis in Scotland and I have been there, though not much there.
The Hitch is still the same stock location as before the Body Lift. Since I still have a 31" spare tire underneath the hitch isn't as noticible.
When I've used the ladders to get out there was usually a friend helping me to dig out so he would get them.
As for the string. The Brits over here like to put string on there sand ladders but theres are usually about a foot wide and 5 feet long. More like a sheet of sideing with some hole in it for traction.
I can't use string because everytime we use them they get buryed. Have to set markers (usually shovels) so we know where to dig for the ladders at. I've used the Brit ladders and like mine, there smaller easier to handle and store.
The ladders that I use are made from some industrial flooring the kind used to keep 55gal Barrels off of the ground and protect them from the ground. They are Fiberglass about 1 1/2" wide by 1/4" thick strips with fiberglass dowles running trough them. We cut them about a foot long. I made the holder because they are easy to get to and use but always out of the way. They also make great flooring when I shower in BFE.
