So I finally got to run my dual exhaust on my ST and i love it. Went with the super 44 muffler and it sounds great! Looks awesome too! The only problem was that the driver side tip was a bit crooked, but its a lot more noticeable on the picture than it actually is in person haha i still love it

Looks good! I recently put in a delta 40 and like how it sounds even though I'm still SI/SO.

Yeah i also had the delta 40 but i forgot to have them remove my resonator so i wasn't too satisfied with the loudness of it..but this is definitely giving out a better tone. now my truck sounds a bit meaner

nice job man i like it. im on the fence between delta 44, or dynomax ultra flo. i plan to run 2.5" from cat to muffler then run a single in dual out and run 2.25" muffler back for clearance reasons.

Well I plan on posting a YouTube video Saturday of the sound the super 44 gives me if that helps you in your decision making too

thanks buddy that will really help

This is interesting...i was looking under my truck today and saw how rusted out my exhaust is...id like to install headers without cats. It looks like I would have room only for a single pipe due to the gas tank. I'm not sure how to get the duals to exit out the rear of the truck like you did, did you leave the spare tire in place? Also, i don't see how I would do what I want with deleting the cats since usually exhaust shops balk about doing this.

Hey man we aren't supposed to talk about taking out cats on the site since its illegal. Also, on V6s it generally sounds terrible and raspy if you were to straight pipe it or just put a muffler on it. Not to mention you'd have to do something about your oxygen sensors going haywire.

And it's pretty much been agreed that the headers don't give any advantage.

Oh. I forgot, the NSA is monitoring this site, what was I thinking?

Actually that's a rule on most forums...

If you want to legally remove your pre-cats then get a Random Technology Y-Pipe, it's 50 state legal and has the O2 sensor bungs welded into the downpipes. They also sell a highflow cat to re[place the factory dual stage cats. I have bothe and dual 2.5" exhuast.

Heres a video i made. The audio quality on my cell phone kinda sucks so i apologize for that, but its just to help you guys get an idea of what it sounds like. The sound in person is a lot better for sure. And Yeah i had to remove my spare.

I checked out their site...im not sure I can afford their prices....they're asking over $400 for a cat that summit sells for around $200????
