Finally Went Out

Well my rocker arms and couple of seals finally went out today. Had oil going into my cylinders so truck was pouring smoke out of exhaust. Ive been waiting on it to happen. Me and a Friend started today dropped TCase and Tranny. Pulling Engine out tomorrow. Theres a good bit of stuff Im going to upgrade to High Performace so I just went ahead and pulled it all out. But If I can get time while doing it ill take some pictures and let yall see.

Why do you say that? Whats signs did you notice?

Well there was the Tapping in the engine of course it was the Rocker arm Rails. I also knew the seals were about to go because of little puffs of smoke every now and then because of it leaking down into my cylinder which was causing the smoke.

Also I was waiting on it to happen so I could replace it with some badass stuff...

I will take pictures of it probably tomorrow. Ive got stock tires and rims on it right now so I could pull my truck under lil carport/garage we are doing it in.

Since you are pulling the engine out, you might as well drop in a 302. To quote Rocky V "put some hustle behind the muscle".

Would I 302 Bolt up to my Tranny?

why? get a good tranny. The A4LD is complete junk. I have had to rebuild mine twice.

Well I dont really have all that much money to play with right now so maybe later on ill do a Tranny swap for now. Im puttin Stage 1 cam kit and a couple other goodies..
