I got a new PCV at NAPA last week, but it has that "tree" at the top of the valve, while mine is just the actual valve and a rubber hose. My hose won't work with that tree. So I went to another place with Fram products and the valve listed in the catalog, FV292 is the same as the NAPA, but right next to it was FV291, which looks the same but without the tree. I picked it up. Should I try the tree-less one with my old hose or try and make the other one work? The parts guy there said they might have been built to withstand different pressures.
I see now that at Fram's web site they list FV246 as the valve to use.
