Prefix for threads that contain problems that have been resolved, and there is an answer within the thread.
jd4242 It is only an eighth inch smaller than 2.5. It didn't make a difference at all performance wise.

Cevigney So far I haven't had a problem with the water going in it. Since I put it on I haven't had to replace an air filter. Before it was every time I went through a water crossing.

Splodo49 Thank you. I like the way it looks. And it only cost me $40 band the time to fab it up.

Mine was a little more because i bought the actual safari snorkel head, i like it because it has water channels that force moisture out and it actually acts as a ram air. I usually turn it around while wheeling in the desert and other dusty environments or in the trees i have caught that thing and broke down branches and even bent my fender from the tree pulling on the snorkel.

be careful hitting water at speed. Personally I tend to get a lot of water right in that same area. thats why I ran my intake to inside the cab.

How and where did you run it to inside.

punch a whole through the firewall into the glovebox?

Took out the whole heater and AC clust of crap ran 4" rubber hose through the glove boxish area. my buddy loves it when its at full throttle;)
i know jd wants to see this still. so do i.
