Hi all,
My interior lights stopped turning on when the doors open, but they do when I operate the light switch. Anybody have any idea what's wrong?

Do the lights turn on when some doors are opened but not others? If so, one of the little pushbutton switches inside the door frame (near the lower hinge) has probably gone bad or come disconnected. When closed, the door pushes the button down and turns off the interior lights (if all are closed). When the door opens the button springs out and this turns on the interior lights. These little pushbuttons wear out over time. The pushbuttons themselves are easily replaceable. I grabbed several from a junkyard for a dollar and have spares for years.

The interior lights all work when the light switch is rotated, but don't work if any of the doors are opened which suggests to me a central relay or other device is not working properly.
