...i am hoping to be in big bear for the next snow...
...i hope everything is ok up there as they have mandatory evacs down here for the canyon's, (modjeska, williams), and silverado is under volunteer evac due to mudslides from the recent fires...no slides yet but they got a couple inches of rain..

..the slides up there can be gnarley do to all the rocks...i'm itching to get my ranger up there in some good snow though...it's a putter but it's perfect for big bear in the snow...
We had a half inch this morning up here in the NW. That all melted but then started again when I took this picture. Now we have close to 2" and still coming down hard.
Not first snow but the first significant snow on our local mtns. here in the Palm Springs area. This is Mt. San Jacinto and surrounding mtns. as taken from my truck on the way to work this morning...sorry for the crappy pic:
