I've been following this Fitch Catalyst for a month or two now. Over on F150online and Chevytruckworld, there only a few owners who bought the product and claimed it made their truck idle smoother. But there was NO claim of getting better mpg's with the Fitch setup. Save your money folks.

The one we installed is a bit different, being home made and for a diesel semi, I don't have any pics of that one. As stated in the other thread, the drivers for this company are reporting 30-40% better mileage. It better be, it takes close to 8 hours to install these on a big rig, shop rate is $80 an hour!

I think the basic idea is to pass the fuel by the coolant, raising the temp of the fuel before it enters the engine. Apparently the fuel molecules separate (I think the correct term is atomization?) and the fuel burns more effeciently.

In a diesel engine, this means the engine doesn't burn all the fuel sent to it. The ones we put on also allow for the unburned fuel to return to the tank at a quicker rate.

Well, it's not really "our" version, one of the drivers designed it, apparently he has a couple patents on it in Canada. He's the one who gave me the 30-40% figure.

The Bright Green one is the first one I found when I searched the web.

This is like the water hydrogen fuel mixture which will atomize the fuel molecules and supposily help in fuel savings.

Yeah, but if it doesn't work, why would the guy spend $640 to get it installed? Actually, it's closer to $1280, since we've put in two for him now (different trucks)

"Dear Mr. Franklin;
