Hi every body im new to this forum. I am going to do an SAS in the next year and am in the "pre-planning stage" (what ever that means) im not even shure it will be and explorer it could be a dodge dakota. Any way my thinking is, if i ues an explorer is there any good reason i should not use FJ60 axles?? they are wide enough i think, and defenatly tough enough espshaly if you put merlin birdfields in them. i would put the FJ60 axles in the front and rear to solve the blot patern issue and to have = track with. any thoughts????

My first question would be is the front axle drivers drop, or passenger? If it's drivers, it would work.

It's passenger side, but i would want to replace the t-case with a manual any way i would probably go witha dana 300 or some thing like that with a passenger side output.

If you can get a pass. transfer case to work, that would be a really good set of axles to run under an Explorer.

has any one tried to use a passenger side t-case?? i assume advanced adapters could get me an adapter to make that work. if i could get a donor fj60 assuming advanced adapters could come through for me i could use the t-case out of that. any body see any flaws in my thinking??
