Flashing O/D light.

whats the story with the flashing OD MESSAGE??Is it a serious problem??Tranny is starting to shift roughly..its only been a couple of hours..should I take it to a Ford dealer or Transmission Specialist??Ford Explorer 2003

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the transmissions section. Your vehicle is going into limp mode (FMEM). Don't continue to drive it. Have a shop pull the codes to find the problem.
