Flat Belly?

Hey guys, been a long time since I've been in the Explorer world! Picked up a 94 X and some narrowed half tons to build a street legal wheeler I dont have to trailer like my other junk. Anyway anyone ever done a flat belly on an Explorer with some UHMW or something?

I wanted to. I got mine close to flat with the clocking ring on my doubler and some hammering of the underside of the body, but not quite. To get completely flat it would take a little body life I think. I wanted to use some plate steel but never got around to it.

Thanks for the response, how much body lift do you think it would take? I was considering doing a 1" to help with the 302 swap but I may skip it.

With a clocket Tcase and some hammering 1" would do it alright. I think the cats hung down too if I remember correctly.
