I recently bought some floor mats for my Truck. I bought the Nifty-Catch alls. They fit great a bit pricy. But I bought them anyway. I didn't want the tan that would match the interior because as a Mechanic my boots are always covered in grease, tar, etc.. So when I saw the Catch Alls came in Charcoal my search was over. I got them they arrived but guess what The Charcoal is not my Idea of Charcoal. My Idea is almost black. The picture in the add was almost black. The actual color is Gray I would go as far to say a Dark Gray. Not even close to black. The box got trashed. Can't be returned. I've got floor mats.
My question is there a way that I can stain these? I want them black to hide all the grease & tar stains. I don't want to be tracking the color stain into the house. That would not make the wife happy. I found some fabric stains but you must soak the whole thing. I got Front & Back the size makes it a bit difficult to dunk. What about Black ink? Any Ideas?
